About MakerBatch

MakerBatch is a web-based admin tool for small makers. It helps users record materials, supplier lots, recipes, production batches, finished stock, sales, reports and related business notes.

Early access

MakerBatch may be offered as an early-access service while features are still being tested and improved. Early-access users should expect changes, improvements and occasional issues.

User responsibility

MakerBatch is an admin aid. Users remain responsible for their own legal, safety, labelling, CPSR, GMP, food hygiene, tax, accounting, marketplace, barcode and business compliance requirements.

Account security

Users must keep login details secure and use MakerBatch lawfully. You must not attempt to access another user's account or interfere with the service.

Intellectual property

MakerBatch, including its name, branding, website content, app interface, workflows, wording, templates, reports, calculations, documents, source code, database structure and related materials, is owned by Richard Crowhurst trading as MakerBatch unless otherwise stated.

All MakerBatch content and software is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property rights. Users are granted access to use MakerBatch for their own business records only. You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, redistribute or create a competing service from MakerBatch content, structure, workflows or software without written permission.

Users keep ownership of the business data, recipes, materials, product records, notes and other content they enter into their own MakerBatch account.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are expected to be billed monthly through Stripe. Founder or early-access pricing may be limited to selected users and may be conditional on continued subscription.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep MakerBatch available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add, remove or change features as the service develops.

Data export

Users should export their own data before cancelling or requesting account deletion where they need to keep business records.

Expired trials and cancellations

If a free trial ends without a paid subscription, or if a paid subscription is cancelled, MakerBatch may retain account and workspace data for a limited period to allow export or reactivation, then delete or anonymise it as described in the Privacy Policy.

Limitation

MakerBatch is provided as a practical admin and record-keeping tool. While we aim to keep the service accurate and useful, we do not guarantee that calculations, reports, exports, alerts, stock figures, dates, pricing suggestions or other outputs will always be complete, accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

Users remain responsible for checking records, calculations, labels, compliance documents, stock counts, pricing, tax, safety and business decisions before relying on them. MakerBatch should not be used as the sole copy of legally or commercially important records, and users should export or keep backups where required.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MakerBatch is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or losses arising from user-entered data, software errors, calculation errors, missed alerts, interrupted access, or reliance on MakerBatch without reasonable independent checks.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to MakerBatch or these terms will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer law gives you rights to bring a claim elsewhere.
