Refunds and Cancellation
Last updated: 12 July 2026.
Free trial
Paid early-access subscriptions are intended to start with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel during the trial to avoid being charged.
Monthly subscription
After the trial, subscriptions are billed monthly unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
Part-month refunds
MakerBatch does not normally refund part-used monthly subscription periods unless required by law or agreed at our discretion. This gives users time to export their data before access ends.
Founder offer
The planned founder offer is 14 days free, then £5 per month for the first 50 accepted paid early-access users in the UK. The founder rate is intended to remain available while the user keeps an active subscription.
How to cancel
Until self-service billing controls are available, email hello@makerbatch.co.uk from your registered account email to request cancellation.
Expired trials and cancelled accounts
If a free trial ends and no paid subscription is started, MakerBatch may keep the account and workspace data for up to 30 days so the user can return or export records. After that, the account and associated workspace data may be deleted or anonymised.
If a paid subscription is cancelled, access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period. Account and workspace data may be kept for up to 30 days after access ends to allow export or reactivation.
Account deletion
Cancellation stops future billing. Account deletion is separate. If you want your account and synced workspace data removed, contact us from your registered email address.
