Common questions
Is MakerBatch only for cosmetics?
No. MakerBatch started from cosmetics and handmade product record keeping, but it can also help home fragrance makers, bakers, resin makers, crafters, bought-in stock sellers and small makers who need clearer stock and batch records.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. MakerBatch runs in a modern browser, so it can be used on desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. Larger screens are easier for longer admin sessions, while phones and tablets are useful for quick checks and updates.
Do I need to download an app?
No. MakerBatch is browser-based, so there is no app-store download. You sign in through the website and use it online.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
If you keep the Founder subscription active, Stripe will bill £5 per month after the trial. You can cancel during the trial to avoid being charged.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Founder access is a monthly subscription. If you cancel after a paid period has started, access normally continues until the end of that billing period so you have time to export or copy any records you need.
What does Founder access mean?

What are Core and Plus?
Core is planned for the main batch, stock and sales record tools. Plus is planned for extra business tools such as recipe calculations, costing, suggested pricing, printable make sheets and other advanced helpers. Founder users keep the current advanced tools at the Founder price while their Founder subscription stays active.
Is my data private?
Each account has its own workspace. MakerBatch uses account login, secure checkout through Stripe, session protection and normal server-side database storage. It does not use advertising or behavioural tracking.
Does MakerBatch replace legal or safety records?
No. MakerBatch is an admin and record-keeping aid. Makers remain responsible for their own recipes, assessments, labels, legal obligations, safety checks and compliance requirements.
